The intent of this blog is meant to provide the public with some honest and open reviews about Pensacola restaurants and dining experiences available to Pensacola residents and visitors. These are the opinions of the authors, but seek to take into account the following factors:
- Time of day and day of week. Obviously, experiences will be different at the lunch hour, a week night, and a weekend evening. We don’t want to penalize a restaurant for being crowded or overloaded at 7:00 PM on a Friday evening. On the flip side, if the restaurant can exceed expectations under such conditions, we want to make sure to note it.
- Level of service. Simply, the more we pay, the more we expect.
- Advertised expectations. Restaurants should be very careful in seetting expectations. We hold them to it.
- Management. We hold management 100% responsible for who they hire and how they train them. If we crucify a restaurant, it is management’s fault.
Originally housed on a custom host, this blog has now moved to WordPress. The reasons are simple. Search engine placement. Despite doing everything I could, the original blog never showed up at more than the 15th search page on Google. I am confident that WordPress will do much better.

Good site. And this isn’t spam.
I think you’ll like WordPress as a platform.
Was looking for cheesesteaks or sandwiches as a tag or category here and found that there isn’t one yet.
I own Philly’s and you are welcome to come sample our cheesesteaks or hoagies if you are in the area. My menu is online at my website http://www.phillysonline.com
I also do a political blog using WordPress but that has more food for the soul than food for the body. You’ll find better search engine results with this platform I think.
Merry Christmas! We close at 3pm today and reopen on Wednesday. Looking forward to serving you soon.

Hello, I’m doing some marketing research for a project. Is there a site I can go to get an “average” CUSTOMERS PER WEEK regarding particular restaurants? More TYPE of establishment as opposed to actual Names of places. And the area in Florida as well? Can’t seem to find this…thanks…..Lee
